CREATIVE WRITING AND HOW TO DEVELOP CONTENTS TO PROMOTE THE GOSPEL AND THE CHURCH BRAND IDENTITY

In the first place, what is content? Content is actually anything that passes a message.
Text, Images, Graphics. Videos, Infographics, Memes, Gifs Etc
So, I have some few points.
It depends on what you want to use it for, and the platform you want to use it

  1. UNDERSTAND THE PERSONALITY OF YOUR BRAND.
    And videos too. For a platform like Instagram, you’ll use more images and videos too.
    One of the most popular form of content is text content. And that’s why if you want to
    excel in this field, you must know how to write. Now, when I say writing, I don’t only
    mean writing article. No! You realize that there’s an art to writing Instagram captions.
    What about creating tweets, these things matter.
    If you want to create content for a brand. Let’s say the brand is your church. You must
    understand the personality of that brand. If not you’ll pass a wrong message with
    your content. What’s the silent rules that you won’t see in any book? What’s the
    personality of your church? How best do you pass message without going off key

Some churches can accept you doing Man Crush Monday, some won’t and there’s no
crime to this. You’ve just got to know the personality of your brand.
This will help you build content that is in line with your church brand.
I remember one Refreshing Vigil in foursquare that I did the content strategy
direction. The idea was simply to just have four colors with the foursquare logo
somewhere down. So we released 4 plain designs with the four colours of foursquare
on them. And the logo just somewhere below. People were wondering what it was
for, but. We got attention and gradually, we began to pass our message. Content
messaging is a gradual and subtle thing, It’s never a rushed thing
MFM is different from Daystar and even on social media, you’ll see that same
difference. A content on foursquare social media page that has a picture with a girl in
trousers. Ehen that’s now a problem. But, that kind of image on Harvesters handle
isn’t a big deal. I’m not here to talk about trouser or not. I’m just here to teach you that
different brands have different guidelines

  • EVERY CHURCH MEDIA TEAM SHOULD HAVE A BRAND GUIDE BOOK
    Has anyone here heard of what is called experiential marketing? Lemme ask a
    question: What’s the one advert from any brand that you really love the most that
    has stayed in your head for a long time?
    Lemme use airtel as an example. Who likes this new aritel campaign #DataIsLife.

You’ll realize that airtel is using perfect messaging to get into our head. And it’s not
just once, they are consistently pushing one idea. Creating a content strategy for your is an intelligent and intellectual work, it require you too think,

Some of you just think that it’s about just posting on IG or facebook. No. It’s about
creating a sweet feeling, using content to make people get interested in your brand.

  • HAVE A CONTENT STRATEGY
    Who here knows MINE Teens Ministry? Great.
    When I want to build a media team, I always make people know that I don’t just want
    people who cannot be strategic. Many people think its just about the swag of being
    in a media team. One important ability you must have is how to create strategy
    document. Have a plan for your campaign, Write down all what you want to post. All
    the articles you want to write, list their topics out. All the designs you want to do. List
    then out and put dates for each of them. Learn to be highly organized. It’s not that
    you wake up one day and you’re wondering what you should post. All those things should have been taught out
